కొమ్మలని కనలేని
గొడ్రాళ్ళు


చెట్లిప్పుడు పక్షుల
గూళ్ళకు పనికి రాని
ప్రాంగణాలు

 
చెట్లిప్పుడు శిలువకు
బలి అయిన
ఏసుక్రీస్తులు

 
చెట్లిప్పుడు తలలు
నరికిన మొండెములు

చెట్లిప్పుడు తోడు
లేని అనాధ ప్రేతాలు

చెట్లిప్పుడు కాళ్ళు
లేని సైనికులు 
 
చెట్లిప్పుడు నీడ
నివ్వలేని నిశాచరులు

చెట్లిప్పుడు గుడ్ల
గూబలకు అవారాలు

చెట్లిప్పుడు
మరణానికి రాసుకొన్న
ఉత్తరాలు


చెట్లిప్పుడు
కాష్టానికి పనికొచ్చే
పాడె కట్టెలు    


చెట్లిప్పుడు మనిషి
ప్రేమకు దూరమైన
అభాగ్యులు



 This is about trees which are inhumanly cut by people either
for road widening , or making business like sandal wood
trees or deforestation for construction of projects
etc.This is the anguish of a poet how trees are
suffering in the hands of selfish man kind under the
present circumstances.
